Territory Sales Representative
South Central Indiana
Service Crane’s sales team is an integral part of our strategy to build a successful sales pipeline. As a member of the team you will work closely with insidee sales and operations to identify and qualify new leads.
Job Description:
- Developing new business
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
- Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly schedules, call and quote reports.
- Writing and submitting quotes by referring to price lists and product literature when needed or working with inside sales by submitting relevant information so they are able to submit accurate quotes.
- Recommending products based on customer wants and needs.
- Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; and making recommendations to management.
- Assisting in collections and helping to obtain down payments for progressive jobs.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Incorporating new and existing sales plans and marketing strategies to increase sales.
- Meet or exceed sales goals set by Service Crane Company.

Service Crane, a full service material handling company specialized in overhead cranes and hoists, is looking for an inside sales/customer service representative to help support our growing business.
Experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales is preferred.
Job Description:
- Answer phones
- Respond to customer requests
- Locate & quote parts and new equipment
- Write quotes for material handling systems
- Maintain quote and job logs
- Start jobs
- Issue purchase orders
- Follow up on quotes via phone and email
- Schedule service work
- Perform general office duties (answer phones, file, data entry, mailing literature, etc.)
- Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives
- Communicate with accounting, service department and outside vendors

Service Crane, a full service material handling company specialized in overhead cranes and hoists, is looking for a general manager to help support our growing business.
Job Description:
- Increase sales and develop new customers while maintaining gross profit.
- Manage and develop sales staff – Work with personnel at different levels of technical and sales knowledge/experience. – Training in both technical and sales strategies. Hire, train, retain both inside and outside sales personnel.
- Improve customer service/experience
- Lead sales meetings, regular staff meetings, training/information sessions
- Support outside sales staff in meeting customer needs
- Work with customers, sales, and operations to create a partnership where we take care of all the customers’ cranes and hoist needs.
- Develop/implement strategies to sell more onsite service contracts
- Develop processes/procedures to help – Standardize quoting and make it as efficient and accurate as possible. – Utilize tools like Salesforce, InspectAll and Sage – Improve communication with inside/outside sales, service/ops, and customers.
- Work with salespeople to close large sales and set up new customers.
- Work with marketing to develop newsletters, email and print marketing pieces, and advise on updates/changes to the website. Help write and review content prior to it being published.
