Job Description:

  • Developing new business
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly schedules, call and quote reports.
  • Writing and submitting quotes by referring to price lists and product literature when needed or working with inside sales by submitting relevant information so they are able to submit accurate quotes.
  • Recommending products based on customer wants and needs.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; and making recommendations to management.
  • Assisting in collections and helping to obtain down payments for progressive jobs.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Incorporating new and existing sales plans and marketing strategies to increase sales.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals set by Service Crane Company.
