Runways
The Runway consists of the rails beams, brackets, and framework on which a crane operates. There are many runway configurations, designed to provide support and functionality for the overhead crane. These include:

Overhead Crane Systems
Designed for heavy load lifting in large spaces, overhead cranes offer the ability to transfer equipment and parts across your facility. Offering both top running and underhung runway systems, SCC can assist you and finding the right system for you space and job application.
Jib, Gantry & Monorail Cranes
Jib, gantry and monorails offer a wide range of versatility in your workspace. Jib cranes will lift and maneuver materials between 180-360 degrees around the support structure, or act as a “hand off” to adjacent workstations. Gantry cranes offer an economical option for lifting and moving equipment anywhere in your facility. Monorail systems are a highly versatile lifting device that can have curves, switches, turntables and even connect to an overhead bridge crane.
Below-The-Hook Devices
Below-the-Hook lifting devices and end effectors are used to attach loads to overhead hoisting equipment. They are used to move any load that doesn’t have a lifting lug or a place to attach a single hoist hook to the load. They are commonly used in such applications as: plate handling, pipe lifting, stone cutting, glass handling, steel handling, drum handling, and odd-shaped loads.
Hoists
Service Crane Company distributes a variety of hoist equipment for use in facilities where heavy loads must be lifted and repositioned as part of the daily work process. Hoists safely and efficiently lift and reposition materials in heavy duty, rough, and/or repetitive environments.
Fall Protection
Our manufacturers create high quality self-retracting lines, shock absorbing lanyards and full body harnesses to keep you protected on the job. All protection gear should be chosen carefully to ensure proper fit and coordinating gear. Harnesses depend primarily on waist size; however, height can take part as well. It is also important to consider the application you will be using the harness for. Primary applications include: fall arrest, work positioning, rescue and restraint.
